Customs statistics show that in January 2017, China rare earth
permanent magnets （including neodymium magnets and SmCo magnets）import and export situation is gratifying, export growth sharply, while imports fell sharply.
Specifically, in January 2017, China's rare earth permanent magnet exports 2537 tons, an increase of 17.9%, the magnitude increased significantly over the previous year; imports amounted to 141 tons, a decrease of 14%, a continuous decrease, and slightly less than the previous year.
In addition, China's rare earth permanent magnet net exports showed an upward trend, in January 2017 China's rare earth permanent magnet net exports of 2396 tons, an increase of 20.5%.
