You can add a strong magnetic contact with these
adhesive-backed magnets nearly anywhere it is convenient. You can use it to create instrument holders, customized
magnets on fridge, magnetic cabinet catches, hidden key stashes and more.
Each effective rare-earth magnet has a high-tack peel-and-stick backing that sticks to any clean, dry surface. While the magnets arevery strong, the direct-pull resistance of the adhesive is stronger; a device caught to the magnet will launch before the magnet can be pulled from the wall.
The skinny film adhesive that sticks best to smooth surfaces is used by the “1/4” diameter size; the foam-backed adhesive that conforms nicely to mild surface irregularities is used by four larger sizes.
The low-profile discs measure 0.04" to 0.06" thick (approximately 3/64" to 4/64", or about the thickness of a quarter), so they add minimal offset, and you can easily set a shallow counterbore for flush-mount applications.
