Parylene coating is a kind of high polymer thermoplastic polymer, which consists of monomer p-xylene uniformly distributed in the gap and surface of the coating under vacuum, and then polymerized. The film thickness can be from 1 μ m to 50 μ M. It can be adjusted arbitrarily in the range of 50 μ M. Due to the operation efficiency of vapor in vacuum, the pinhole free film can be formed, and the thickness of the film can be accurately controlled. The coating characteristics of parylene coating are much better than that of epoxy, spray, dip and other coating methods. Meank applied parylene coating to the surface treatment of NdFeB permanent magnets, neodymium(NdFeB) magnets with parylene coated are more waterproof and corrosion resistant.
